Whats up, percussion club?

If you have been following us through our twitter and instagram, you should know what have we been up to lately. First,we the mainboard welcome this new semester with the very first agenda, which is IIUM Percussion Club Audition. We received quite a few names from the booth during Citra Open Day that are interested in joining our club. We then decided to open it up more publically to the IIUM community regarding our audition. Despited the short notice, we received a wonderful responses from them as we welcomed around 30 people coming down for the audition. Out of 30, we chose 14 lucky and wonderful people to join our little family.

Moving on to the second agenda; IIUM Percussion Club Mass Gathering. Since it is still the start of the semester, we decided on having a mass gathering in conjunction to welcome our new members so as to get to know more of each other and to minus abit of the krik-krikness among us. kah kah kah. ;p alhamdullilah, despite not having any fancy decorations nor activities,we reached our goal in getting to know each other and share some laughters together. We ended our mass gathering with one wonderful performance by the awesome percussionists from our very own club and of course, what is a gathering without food,again? Hahaha. Makan-makan la of course! Thank you everyone for making our first event together a successful one!

Last but not least, our first training of the semester started yesterday! Mondays are for Latin and we have Bro Fikri and Bro Muaz as our trainers yesterday while Thursdays are mainly for Traditional and insyaAllah we will have professional teaching us. wait for it! hehe.

On the other hand, our team had a performance last week at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. It was a very grand place and we are more than honoured to be able to perform right on the stage!

Oh, hello semester 2 2014/2015!

So dusty here so i decided to give it a clean up! Haha. Yes, yes i know this came a bit too late. We have been busy lately. Been busy with what, you ask? Let us list down for you!

First of all, we have a new line up of main boards for this new tenure!

I proudly announce the new line-ups of management board for the next tenure of IIUM Percussion Club session 2014/2015! 

The choosen five are:-

President: Ahmad Ali Hidayati b Mohamad 
Vice President 1: Mohd Fikri b Abdoll Aziz
Vice President 2: Najihah bt Zailani
Secretary: Putri Anida bt Misnani
Financial Controller: Nor Fadzrina bt Zulghafar 

Congratulations to all of them! May they perform the amanah with success. 

Okay moving on to the second agenda, CiTRA OPEN DAY!

we have been busy with trainings even before the semester starts that we barely have time for ourselves, what more to update this blog. Kah kah kah.

CiTRA Open Day is a two days event which consist of promotion booths of each club under CiTRA, busking performances and the highlight of the event is...... CULTURAL NIGHT! Where all the 11 clubs will sit on one stage and perform. We gave our all for this night. We spent most of our time at CAC training hard to give the best performance for you. We sweat and cramp through every training with all the other clubs to give you something more than the usual.

Alhamdullilah, it paid off. The event went well and we had one of the best performances ever. It was full house and the audiences was awesome! We received such a good and overwhelming responses! We thank everyone for giving such a wonderful commitment and working hand in hand. Good job, everyone! we would like to extend our utmost gratitude to the committees for trying hard to give us the best of eveything, Cikgu Ku Zahir for guiding us all the way through despite your busy schedules. May Allah bless each and everyone of you.
